Our History
2001
Busch (UK) Ltd was established in 1971 and has a history in the Busch Industry reaching back to 1965, when they acquired the 35-year technical engineering archives for Becorit & Herweg, Long-Airdox Becorit and Effox UK Busch manufactured in the UK.
2004
Busch secured their first £3 million contract to supply FGD systems to a power station in China.
2009
In 2009, Busch became a leading valve supplier and established itself as a recognized global brand within the valve industry. With an international infrastructure and a presence in multiple countries, OVI serves many of the industries in which Busch is actively engaged.
2011
Establishment of operations from offices and a brand-new, purpose-built 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.
2012
Busch acquired a fabrication facility in Leicester, now relocated to our London Head Office (NW10 7FW).
2014
In 2014, Busch expanded its European operations by opening a new office in Braga, Portugal. This strategic location was chosen to better serve the EU market, strengthen customer relationships across the region, and support the company’s growing network for delivering engineering solutions worldwide.
2016
In January 2016, Busch expanded its global presence by establishing a new subsidiary in Kanagawa, Japan. This strategic move allowed the company to better serve the Asia-Pacific market, strengthen local customer support, and reinforce Busch’s commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions worldwide.
2019
Busch will open a Competence Centre in Poznan, Poland, to support sales and manufacturing in the region.
Today
With offices in four countries, Busch’s corporate growth continues as they explore new markets, expand their product range, and invest in staff and technology to meet damper project requirements worldwide now and in the future.
